The People's Church is a seven-year-old church with good growth with an attendance 125-150 in both locations, with expectations for ongoing growth and multiplication. There is potential for job growth into full-time at one location and eventual Worship Leader for all locations. Also, the position could be full-time if a person is willing to raise some of their financial support

We are seeking someone who:

1. Lives close enough to drive in 1-2 times a week (Sundays, maybe one other day);
2 Or, is willing to be bi-vocational;
3. Or, is willing to raise their own support for 1-2 years (with our help).

Temporary housing available for someone who moves in, as well as someone who drives in from a nearby community and needs a place for a night a week, etc.

This person will lead the current team of singers and musicians, as well as recruit and train others.
Keyboard and/or lead guitar is a plus, but not essential.
Experience is a plus, but not essential -- we are willing to help someone get started!

Other potential ministry opportunities: Media, youth, groups, assimilation, evangelism/outreach, servant evangelism, some preaching. These places of service could be paid, as the work develops and grows.

This person needs to be strong in "modern worship" (Mighty To Save, How Great Is Our God, Blessed Be Your Name, Here I Am To Worship, Everlasting God, Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone), etc.). He/she should have a passionate concern for evangelism and outreach. The People's Church is an outward-focused church, intentional in everything towards those who are not yet followers of Jesus.

A great deal of leadership flexibility will be granted, based on job performance, so a person needs to possess a strong wok ethic, a developed spiritual life, good platform skills, a willingness to go the extra mile, patience to take our worship to the "next level", as well as be a self-starter with good leadership qualities.
