Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church is currently looking for a candidate to fill their Technical Arts Director need. A qualified candidate would:

- Be excited and comfortable with working in the church environment
- Be a highly effective communicator, particularly with musicians
- Be highly experienced with FOH mixing on both analog and digital mixers and with Aviom in-ear monitoring systems.
- Have experience in various mixing situations including different musical styles and various instrumentation
- Have a working knowledge of audio recording techniques and software (e.g. ProTools HD, Reason/Record, etc.). Knowledge of Finale and/or Sibelius notation software a huge plus.

- Have an outstanding ability to train and develop volunteers

MVPC currently offers two services on Sunday along with various other events throughout the week requiring technical support. We also host periodic special events throughout the year including community concerts, our own Christmas concert, Vacation Bible School, and special speakers and services. Our Music and Worship Department is utilized in many aspects of these events and our Technical Arts Director plays a primary role in their execution and success. While the Technical Arts Director reports directly to the Minister of Music and Worship, the position will provide technical and multimedia support to the entire church as needed.

We are looking for a candidate who is skilled, experienced, creative, and passionate about the technical arts (with an emphasis on audio mixing and multimedia creation) and is able to transfer that passion to a team of motivated volunteers.

The successful candidate will develop and manage teams while exercising his/her own personal expertise as needed. He or she will also be highly self-motivated and skilled with time management.

This full-time, salaried position necessitates a flexible schedule, as some events are not within the normal M-F, 8-5 window. Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes full benefits.

Interested candidates should send a resume to:
