Job Description:

City On A Hill Community Church has a passion to be the kind of church that UNchurched people would love to attend.

We are looking for a talented and driven person to help us create irresistible environments that help people to change their minds about church and the relevance of God's truths in their lives.

Our desire is to be the kind of church that holds to the truths of God's Word and leads people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. At the same time, we believe that the last thing our city (or most others) need is another church. What we need is a different kind of church - one that understands the culture in which we live and the barriers that keep UNchurched people from a relationship with God and His Son. While we hold firm to the timeless truths of Scriptures, we also recognize that we have guests in our church who are skeptical, broken, and feel like the church doesnt understand who they are or where they are coming from. For this reason, we seek to create an atmosphere that people will gravitate towards that allows them the opportunity to find God in the midst of their journey as we point them to Jesus and give them applicable truths.

Among other things, the person who obtains this full-time position must possess strong leadership skills and have the courage and talent to lead musicians and vocalists in their abilities and gifts. They must be a good team player and willing to collaborate with the Senior Pastor and other staff to coordinate weekly services and yearly events. Must have a working knowledge of sound boards, equipment and audio/video skills. Must accept the Bible and Jesus Christ as the authority in their lives.
