Job Description:
Director of Youth Ministries

Year-round, full-time position for a growing, evangelical, United Methodist Church. Work with Senior Pastor in planning and development of the youth ministry. Responsible for gathering and equipping a team of adults and youth for guidance and strategy on the youth program and to fire up our youth for Christ. Responsible for youth programming, events and Christian education for youth 6th – 12th grade. Self starter with strong organizational and administrative skills are necessary.

Requirements: Must be able to work as a team member and have an engaging personality, able to communicate effectively with youth, parents, and church leaders. Experience and/or specialized training in youth Christian ministry. College graduate or equivalent preferred. Commitment to Jesus Christ as demonstrated in personal lifestyle and service a must.

Salary range $25 - 35,000/year (plus benefits) commensurate with education and experience.
